And Resident Evil Revelations is even bigger: Revelations 1 is 13GB and Revelations 2 is 26GB if you get the digital version, and if you buy the cartridge, you only get the first game, with the second having to be downloaded. Of course Rockstar could ship the game on 32gb card and everything would fit on it, but that would increase the price.

The reasons for this are pretty clear: Nintendo's games have been coded from the ground up to run on this hardware, while all these third-party releases are ports from other platforms. The migration is meant to be permanent, and Nintendo warns that "once the process is complete, the user information, the associated save data, and the software purchased with the user account that is transferred will no longer be available on the source console".

Nintendo has given its Switch game console a huge feature boost with the latest firmware update.

The executive went on to state that EA is looking to "fully understand what the demand is" widely for the Switch before it considers bringing more games to it. The Switch sold 7.63 million units across the globe through the end of September.

Speaking of the Switch, according to a recent Nintendo earnings report, the Switch is on track to sell about 14 million units by the time it's a year old. It's been a good year for Nintendo. Not only did the hype meet expectations and beyond, but the sales of the game went beyond expectation as well.
