"It is the end of the beginning", said CNN's Senior Legal Analyst Jeffrey Toobin on CNN's "Erin Burnett Out Front".

Special Counsel Robert Mueller has impaneled a grand jury to investigate whether Russia interfered in the U.S. presidential election, unnamed sources familiar with the matter said.

But core tax overhaul principles - such as whether the effort would add to the budget deficit - haven't been ironed out, much less the devilish details.

Justice told about 9,000 Trump supporters at a rally in Huntington on Thursday night that he will be changing his registration Friday.

He said Veselnitskaya's "true agenda" was to discuss the U.S. adoption of Russian children and the Magnitsky Act. Two of the most powerful sentiments in life (and in politics) are hope and grievance. And he managed to make his political case in a way that did not immediately dismember and detract from the arguments of his lawyers - a feat that he has not always achieved. Others in Congress are seeking ways to protect and promote pot businesses.

Lawmakers passed the bill to punish Russia over its alleged interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election, its annexation of Ukraine's Crimea region and its involvement in Syria's civil war. "The White House is committed to fully cooperating with Mr. Mueller".

That's not surprising - grand juries typically meet in the strictest secrecy and deliberations are confidential.

"The Russia story is a total fabrication".

The consistent failure of British news outlets to inform their readers about the drumbeat of Palestinian incitement - and Palestinian support for violence - is one. Sessions wrote to members of Congress in May asking them - unsuccessfully so far - to undo those protections. He has since assembled a team of more than a dozen investigators, including current and former Justice Department prosecutors with experience in international bribery, organized crime and financial fraud.

"I was shocked by that", responded Pennsylvania Republican Sen.

In a final burst of action Thursday, the Senate overwhelmingly approved a Food and Drug Administration funding bill, and agreed to more than 60 Trump administration nominees, more executive branch nominations in a single day than the Senate had approved all year to date.

President Donald Trump said Thursday he hopes for a "truly honest" outcome from the Russia investigation that has consumed the opening months of his presidency, and he challenged Democrats to either continue their "obsession with a hoax" or begin serving the interests of the American people. "Are there any Russians here tonight?"

Trump, or any U.S. president, must submit a report to the appropriate congressional committee describing the rationale behind any easing of sanctions on Russia and how it would affect U.S. national security interests. "We didn't win because of Russia; we won because of you", he told the crowd.

It remains unclear how much weight Sessions might give the recommendations.

Convening a grand jury does not signal that indictments are imminent or that Mueller has concluded there has been wrongdoing.
